Günther Schauer is an experienced Nuad Thai Massage Instructor who founded Schauer Thai Massage School. With the mission of allowing everyone to learn Thai massage and get the benefits of this ancient technique. Günther studied at the most prestigious Massage Schools of Thailand. At WatPo, he studied: General Thai massage, Advanced Thai Massage Therapy, Massage for health and Aromatherapy, completing 150 hours of learning. His Teacher Training took place in Chiang Mai. In short, it took almost 400 hours. In addition, another 40 hours are added at others schools.

Above all, Schauer Thai Massage School is available to teach worldwide Thai Massage. Certified Courses as well as offers Retreats in Cuba, Morocco, Greece, Bali and Thailand. Schauer Thai Massage School uses the VAK teaching method. In other words, visual, auditory kinaesthetic methods and one-to-one demonstration methods.

Günther has practiced traditional Thai massage since 1995. Günther moved to Chile in 2013. He treated patients in a 5-star spa hotel there for instance. In addition, Schauer Thai Massage School was born in 2015 in Chile. As a result, Chilean students have completed Thai Massage Courses and nowadays they work as a Thai massage Therapist in the best Chilean Spas.

Since then he has been teaching aspirants, therapists and wellness enthusiasts in traditional Thai massage.

He is currently teaching in Vienna, Austria. Furthermore he shares with you all the benefits that Thai massage has to offer. He focuses on the northern style of Thailand, which involves a bit more gentle pressure and more yoga postures. Finally, students around the world join the courses. From Chile, Panama, Venezuela, Austria, Spain, France and Cuba for instance.

I completed the level 1 training with Günther. Günther is more than just competent due to his many years of experience in the area of massage and especially in the area of Nuad Bo Ran. He knows exactly how to pass on his knowledge in an understandable way and with a lot of ease and humor. He adapts individually to his students and their pace of learning. After this training, I have the necessary knowledge to carry out treatments independently. I'm already looking forward to taking part in level 2.
